Once there were three girls ..Christa, Sarah and Stefanie from Austin, Texas. They had angelic voices but more angelic was their music.As Sleep ∞ Over they released two dreamy 7'' and two casettes with great success in the alternative circuit.
Every blog of the world loved their pure,ethereal sound,everyone had to say something good for their voices and their song.
But soon Stefanie was left alone and the other two formed Boy Friend. A band similar,identical,to their first group.
Last year Stefanie as Sleep ∞ Over released a hazy ,foggy, dreamy album and a 7''. The rest as Boy Friend two E,p.s and a 7'' .Both acts were among my lovelys of 2011.
Today Boy Friend release their debut LP ''Egyptian Wrinkle' and as a taste they give us the title track.
As a tribute ,waiting impatiently for the album to land in my land, Chrisodd's Musical Oddyssey Monday's edition 3-5 slt,for the first half an hour will be sailing in ether with the two dream bands we mentioned, plus Keep Shelly In Athens,Trust, Austra,Cocteau Twins even Julee Cruise.
As for the rest Oddyssey,some new releases from alternative scene,some Lana Del Ray and The Men's new track.
