Once again, December's come
And we all get to watch Maht run
His never-ending marathon
To help those world-wide suffering from
The lack of cows (not even one!)
Later, when he finally succumbs
To sleep...that should be fun.
In December, in '09
A request was made of me.
If I could give up some time
For a cause worthy.
The group, Heifer International
Gives livestock to families
Which, seems insanely rational
For providing life's necessities.
Chickens, rabbits, goats and bees
Are sent to those villages
To satisfy most basic needs
In lands underprivileged
And so, Maht plays songs without pause
To raise money for a decent cause.
