Pass the Katz-up

I was checking out the Idelsohn Society's website to see what kind of Passover music they had up (none), and stumbled my way to this interview. It's a little long, but it's worth it.

Fred Katz was always a fascinating character to me, playing jazz cello. I have a copy of Fred Katz and His Jammers on vinyl, with Fred in pajamas on the cover. You might have heard me play some.

An example of his work.

Anyway, that's not what I'm playing tonight, but I just wanted to share that with you. I thought it was pretty cool.

Crazy Faces

Here's a tape of the Smiths from May 1983, rehearsing at the Crazy Face clothes shop which was owned by their manager Joe Moss, the father of my friend M4SK22 Melody who is the creator/curator of the Lumeria Art Gallery which lives in the sky on the Velvet sim.

Fashion for Life is still going. Why not come down and donate some?

Guess who turned 30 this week?

Thirty years ago, this week, this single was released.

Don't you feel better? I feel pretty sweet, considering.
