All the holidays at eight

We're midway through the week that isn't
And while I'm not a strict adherent
I'd just like to say
Be it eight or twelve days
There's still time to give folks those presents

The longest night at eight

With as warm as it has been
There's been little to no hint or
Indication that tomorrow
Is the first day of winter
