meeeow

New music was old once. I was a student in Manchester in the late 90s, and the Manchester music scene was legendary, but those legends became the cash cows for a shameless industry and the songs became pension funds for artists who lost the will to actually make more art long before I arrived. The best bands were the ones who couldn't care less about the musical heritage of the city and the Balconettes were the best.
Bette Davis and the Balconettes from 1997.
