New album from Imperial Teen

Those who know me are aware of my fondness for sugary pop--as long as it's well-crafted sugary pop. That said, I've just heard the first really good album of 2012, "Feel the Sound," by Imperial Teen. It's hard to believe that this San Fran group has been around for 16 years now, but to me it sounds like their maturity is taking them in a great new direction--still upbeat as hell, but more...well....mature. For my money, every track on the album is solid.
